The "HKBU Chinese Medicine Immunity Enhancement Remedy" prescribed by the School of Chinese Medicine helps boost the immunity of the public against viral infection.
Staff and students of HKBU's Nursing programme take part in the community-wide efforts to fight the pandemic.

At HKBU, we bring to life the concept of "prevention is better than cure". Since the first wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have been giving out the "HKBU Chinese Medicine Immunity Enhancement Remedy" prescribed by the School of Chinese Medicine (SCM) to boost the immunity of the public against viral infection. Since 2020, nearly 60,000 doses have been sent to frontline medical staff, elderly homes, daycare centres, schools, and underprivileged families.

 

Staff and students of HKBU's Nursing programme are also contributing to the community-wide efforts to fight the pandemic. Since early March, the nursing staff and students have been assisting the Government's vaccination and specimen collection schemes. Others are providing nursing care to the elderly in the Kowloon Bay Choi Wing Road Community Isolation Facility, while some are helping to answer the questions of people who test preliminary positive on the hotline set up by the Hospital Authority. Their devotion and love for the city are truly admirable.
