The Summer Exploration Day Camp organised by SCM every year offers secondary school students a unique opportunity to explore their interest in Chinese medicine and satisfy their curiosity about university life. This year, with support from the Chinese Medicine Development Fund, the School hosted six half-day camps over three days in early August with around 120 participants in total. The students were given an online lecture about the basics of Chinese medicine before they visited the SCM building for a series of fun-filled activities including simulated experiments on the themes of acupuncture and massage, Chinese medicine identification and Chinese medicine chemistry and physiology; as well as guided tours of the Dr. and Mrs. Hung Hin Shiu Museum of Chinese Medicine, Bank of China (Hong Kong) Chinese Medicines Centre and Dr. Stephen Riady Chinese Medicine Library.
