As part of their Honours Projects, two year four BCM students Lai Hong-yi and Chung Fat-yin, have set out to investigate the non-motor symptoms of patients with Parkinson's disease under the guidance of Professor Li Min and Dr. Chua Ka-kit of CMTR. With support from their peers, the two of them were able to draw on their extensive research into the disease to offer tui na and acupressure services and health talks to members of the Hong Kong Parkinson's Disease Association during July and August. Their efforts were highly appreciated by the parkinsonians, who commended the students for helping to alleviate their symptoms.
