Secondary school students get head start on university experience in Chinese medicine day camp

The School of Chinese Medicine (SCM) organised a summer exploration day camp on 19 July to provide local secondary school students with the opportunity to experience Chinese medicine and sample university life at HKBU.

Activities at the day camp included lectures on Chinese medicine and simulated experiments in acupuncture, tui na, identification of Chinese herbal medicines, the phytochemistry of Chinese materia medica and physiology.  SCM students also shared their learning experience with the participants to give them better understanding of life as a student at HKBU.
