Experts discuss decoding patents and copyrights at intellectual property seminar

In observance of World Intellectual Property Day, the Knowledge Transfer Office and the University Library jointly hosted the Second Intellectual Property Seminar, aptly named "Decoding Patents and Copyright," the previous week.

The seminar featured presentations from four esteemed experts in the field of intellectual property. The speakers included Miss Maggie Wong, a Senior Solicitor at the Intellectual Property Department of the HKSAR Government; Professor Alice Lee, the Associate Dean of the Faculty of Law at The University of Hong Kong; and both Mr. Robert Jackson and Ms. Serene Ong, legal professionals from the globally recognised law firm, Spruson & Ferguson. They each contributed their specialised knowledge and insights into their respective areas of intellectual property to the attendees.
