HKBU shares biotech innovations and ignites collaborations at BIO International Convention

Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) has ventured into the bustling hub of biotechnology innovation at the BIO International Convention in Boston from 16-19 June 2025. This prestigious event stands as the epitome of biotech excellence, drawing together over 20,000 industry leaders from around the globe to explore the latest trends and advancements in the field. 

Led by HKBU Interim Chief Innovation Officer Professor Terence Lau and Director of Technology Translation at ITPR Dr Ken Yeung, the team engaged in enriching discussions with potential partners, igniting collaborations across a spectrum of projects encompassing diagnostics, groundbreaking drug development, and transformative health solutions. 

During the event, we showcased HKBU’s innovations while also exploring the latest biotech advancements, from cutting-edge solutions to bio-entrepreneurship, industry best practices, and the biotech ecosystem.
