HKBU students Chan Yi-ching (Public Relations and Advertising), Chung Ho-long (Geography) and Fong Hiu-lam (Chinese Medicine) have been awarded the 2025 CMA & Donors Scholarship by The Chinese Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong (CMA) in recognition of their outstanding performance.
The presentation ceremony was held on 6 July at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Each of the HKBU awardees received a scholarship of HK$5,000. The event was attended by Dr Wingco Lo, President, and Dr Ma Kai-yum, Executive Vice President of the CMA; and Dr Rosa Tang, Deputy Director of Student Affairs of HKBU.
Established in 1964, the CMA & Donors Scholarship Scheme is funded by its dedicated members and their companies. The scheme aims to recognise and encourage outstanding academic achievements among secondary and tertiary students in Hong Kong. This year, a total of 246 students were awarded scholarships, totalling over HK$400,000.
