HKBU hosted its JUPAS Consultation Day on 16 May, attracting around 500 students and parents to attend the admission talks and join the mini-fair.

Ms Sally Ching, Academic Registrar, highlighted the University’s latest development and remarkable accomplishments of faculty members and students, and she shared updated admission information. Professor William Cheung, Associate Vice-President (Transdisciplinary Education), introduced HKBU’s transdisciplinary education and provided details of five transdisciplinary programmes and seven transdisciplinary secondary majors.

Professor Sammy Li, Programme Director of the new Bachelor of Arts and Science (Hons) in Digital Futures and Humanities, which will be launched in the 2025/26 academic year, highlighted its integration of humanities with emerging digital technologies.  Mr Ng Po-shing, Student Guidance Consultant of the Student Guidance Centre at Hok Yau Club, presented a talk on “Strategies for JUPAS Programme Selection”, which offered participants an overview of the JUPAS system and the critical considerations before and after the release of the HKDSE results.

The admission talks featured a variety of topics. Following the talks, attendees participated in the mini-fair enthusiastically, where they had the opportunity to actively engage with HKBU professors and students, allowing them to have a deeper understanding of the programme offerings and latest information, which helped them prepare for the JUPAS result announcement in July.
