International Women's Day campaign promotes gender equity

The Human Resources Office organised a campaign called “EmbraceEquity” on the Kowloon Tong and Tsuen Wan campuses on 8 March to celebrate International Women's Day.

In the campaign booths, souvenirs including fragrances, stickers, cloth bags and promotional materials were distributed to members of the University to promote the importance of gender equity. Display boards were also set up to explain the difference between equity and equality. Colleagues were invited to take photos while embracing themselves, reminding participants of the need to embrace gender differences.
