Social Sciences student awarded Bank of China Scholarship for Outstanding Student in Chinese History

Chui Ho-wai (Social Sciences, Year 1) was awarded the Bank of China (Hong Kong) Scholarship for Outstanding Student in Chinese History for his excellent DSE results in the subject following a nomination from the Department of History. He was one of 10 students to be awarded the scholarship this year. 

 

Ho-wai said he was pleased to be awarded the scholarship and has been inspired to study history. 

 

The scholarship aims to stimulate youngsters’ interest in studying Chinese History. Freshmen who obtain 5** in DSE Chinese History are eligible to be nominated by their universities or to apply for the scholarship on their own.
