Five students and graduates of the School of Business with a major in accounting were awarded the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA) scholarship for their academic excellence in accountancy and outstanding performance in extra-curricular activities.

Cheung Ki-yan and Leo Leung, who both graduated this year, were awarded the Qualification Programme Scholarship 2017. The scholarship comes in the form of a fee waiver covering the membership, module and examination costs, as an encouragement for them to pursue further studies in accountancy. Both of them have already embarked on a career in Big Four accounting firms.

Cheng Junxia and Chong Chung-man (Year 4, Accounting), and alumnus Wang Zhichong, received the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants Scholarship 2016-17 in recognition of their distinguished performance in academic, extra-curricular activities and community services.
