Journalism alumni scoop 12 prizes in Hong Kong News Awards

Eight alumni from the Journalism undergraduate programmes and the Associate Degree of Arts (Journalism) programme scooped 12 awards at the Hong Kong News Awards 2016.

 

The awardees were:
-- Mr Cheung Wai-ming (Champion and Merit Award, Best News Reporting)
-- Ms Nabela Qoser (Merit Award, Best News Reporting)
-- Mr Chan Tze-ling (First runner-up, Best Business News Reporting and Second runner-up, Best Business News Writing (Chinese))
-- Ms Zhou Mo (Second runner-up, Best Business News Reporting and Champion, Best Business News Writing (English))
-- Ms Auyeung Man-sin (First runner-up, Best Science News Reporting and Merit Award, Best Arts and Culture News Reporting)
-- Mr Wong Tung-leung (Champion and Second runner-up, Best News Writing (Chinese))
-- Mr Leung Sung-pik (Merit Award, Best Business News Reporting (Chinese))
-- Mr Chung Lam-chi (Merit Award, Best Photographic (Features))

 

The Hong Kong News Awards, organised by The Newspaper Society of Hong Kong, aim to recognise the outstanding achievements of journalists and raise professional standards.
