The Faculty of Science held a spring gathering attended by around 170 guests, staff, alumni and students recently. Activities included an array of performances and interactive games. A group of alumni showed their musical talents through a live band performance. The Baptist Chemists team won the Most Active Participation award this year.



Guests who attended the spring gathering included former Head of the then Department of Civil Engineering Professor Ko Jan-ming; former Dean of Science Dr John Chan; Chairman of Faculty Advisory Committee Mr Alfred Lee; Chairman of the Steering Committee on Alumni Relations of the Faculty Mr Leung Ka-wing; Secretary General of Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority and former Associate Dean of Science Dr Tong Chong-sze; Vice-President (Research & Development) Professor Rick Wong; Vice-President (Teaching & Learning) Dr Albert Chau; Associate Vice-President Professor Ricky Wong; and Emeritus Professor in Chemistry Professor Chan Wing-hong.
