HKBU athletes shone at the 30th Hong Kong University Sport Federation (USFHK) Cross Country Competition. They won the second runner-up prize in the Overall Championship and were first runner-up in the Men’s Overall Championship. In the individual events, Wong Tsz-yan (Physical Education and Recreation Management, Year 4) captured the silver medal in the Women’s Individual contest.
The Department of Physical Education provided comprehensive support for the cross country team, not only recruiting capable new members but also providing intensive training and on-the-spot coaching to raise standards, enabling the team to maintain their excellent performance.
This annual competition is one of the major sports functions hosted by USFHK. A total of 11 tertiary institutions took part in this event.
