HKBU receives donation in support of history project

The University received a generous donation from Bethel Mission of China for the research project entitled “Centennial History of Bethel Mission of China” to be conducted by the Modern History Research Centre of the Department of History. A ceremony officiated by General Secretary of Bethel Mission of China Mr Peter Lim and HKBU President and Vice-Chancellor Professor Roland Chin was held yesterday (18 October) in appreciation of the donor’s generosity.

Guests in attendance also included President and Dean of Bethel Bible Seminary Rev Dr Luk Fai; Rev Senior Pastor of Bethel Mission of China (HK) Limited Tsun Lei Church Dr Samuel Yau; Bethel High School Supervisor Mr Lo Ming and Principal Ms Ng Chiu-mei; Deputy General Secretary of Bethel Mission of China Mr James Chan; Head of the Department of History of HKBU Professor Clara Ho; and Director of Modern History Research Centre of HKBU Professor Chung Po-yin.
