The School of Chinese Medicine organised its annual community day on Sunday (1 May). By providing free medical consultations at six of its Chinese medicine clinics and healthcare talks, the School aims to enhance public understanding of the quality Chinese medicine services on offer and further promote Chinese medicine healthcare knowledge to the community. The event attracted 1,800 members of the public.
An array of activities were organised including free medical consultations, herbal tea tasting and two specialised talks delivered by HKBU Chinese medicine professionals on moxibustionand Chinese medicine healthcare for the liver. Guided tours were also arranged for the public to visit the Dr and Mrs Hung Hin Shiu Museum of Chinese Medicine, The Bank of China (Hong Kong) Chinese Medicines Centre and Lui Seng Chun.
