HKBU honours retiring staff members

The University honoured 29 retiring colleagues who have served HKBU for 10 or more years at the Faculty and Staff Assembly today (29 May). Professor Rick Wong, Acting President and Vice-Chancellor, expressed his appreciation on behalf of the University to the retiring colleagues for their dedicated service over the years. Each of the retiring colleagues received a wrist watch with their name and Hong Kong Baptist University engraved at the back as a souvenir at the ceremony.

The 29 retiring colleagues are Miss Kelly Chan of the Academic Community Hall, Professor Cheuk Pak-tong of the Academy of Film, Mr Tse Sik-yee and Mr Tao Yi of the School of Chinese Medicine, Mrs Vivien Chan, Dr Cinnie Ng and Ms Leung Hui-chi of the Office of Student Affairs, Dr Lai Suk-yin of the Department of Chemistry, Professor Lau Chor-wah of the Department of Chinese Language and Literature, Dr Maria Chik and Dr Anita Poon of the Department of Education Studies, Professor Kenneth Wong and Professor Yan Yuk-yee of the Department of Geography, Professor Michael DeGolyer of the Department of Government and International Studies, Mr Leung Chui-shing of the Department of Physical Education, Ms Florence Cheung, Mr Danny Chung, Mr Pang Hei-shun, Mr Tso Man-kuen and Ms Tso Nga-heung of the Estates Office, Ms Debbie Pang of the Finance Office, Ms Ngan Miu-ki of the Joint Sports Centre, Dr Ho Shing-bon, Dr Huang Yue-yuan and Miss Carrieanne Tam of the Language Centre, Dr Lo Kam-chuen and Mr Pele Yau of the Office of Information Technology, Mr Wong Sun-lung of the School of Communication and Ms Law Fung-fong of the School of Continuing Education.
