Professor Dominic Lam, Fung Hon Chu Endowed Chair of Humanics of HKBU’s Institute of Creativity, organised an art exhibition “Calligraphy of the Mind” on campus.

Mr. Eddie Ng, Secretary for Education, opened the exhibition with Mr. Cheng Yan-kee, Chairman of the HKBU Council and the Court, and Professor Lam last week.

The exhibition featured the creative calligraphic style of Professor Lam. This style also serves as an example of how visual art can foster creativity in children and adults alike. In addition, the exhibition featured eight artworks that combine the poetry of Chairman Mao Zedong, the calligraphy of Professor Lam and the paintings of maestro Salvador Dali, a memorable example of how art and culture can promote international ties and enhance world peace and harmony.
