HKBU Information Day attracts 25,000 visitors to learn more about its undergraduate curriculum

More than 25,000 prospective applicants and visitors participated in HKBU’s Information Day for Undergraduate Admission held on campus last Saturday (19 October). They obtained the most updated information on the undergraduate curriculum and the development of the University as well as experienced HKBU’s vibrant campus life.

There was a featured talk on “Navigate JUPAS admissions, explore HKBU programmes”, delivered by Dr. Esther Ho, Chairperson, and Mr. Joe Tsui, Vice-Chairperson of the Hong Kong Association of Careers Masters and Guidance Masters (HKACMGM); Ms. Louisa Leung and Mr. Ho Chun Yan, Committee Members of HKACMGM, and HKBU representatives from each Faculty/School/Academy. Dr. So Kwok-sang, Academic Registrar, also conducted two admission talks on JUPAS and Non-JUPAS. Other highlights included briefings and sharing sessions organised by various Faculties/Schools/Academy, where visitors had the chance to meet with academics, students and alumni to learn more about individual programmes, admission requirements and career prospects.

Guided tours were conducted by student ambassadors for visitors to visit different campuses, student hostels, and other teaching facilities and laboratories. A variety of student performances, such as musical ensembles, dance performances and magic shows, were staged to provide opportunities for visitors to sample HKBU’s unique Whole Person Education and the rich and diversified on-campus experience.
