Led by its President Mr. Johnny Yeung, a 23-member delegation from the Hong Kong Wong Tai Sin Industry & Commerce Association visited HKBU on 29 July. The visit was arranged by the University Advancement Office with the aim of facilitating mutual communication between the Association and the University.

Accompanied by Professor Rick Wong, Acting President and Vice-Chancellor; Professor Frank Fu, Associate Vice-President; Dr. Peter Lau, Associate Dean of the School of Business; Dr. Kevin Yue, Acting Dean of the School of Chinese Medicine; and Mr. Chen Yimin, Senior Lecturer of the Academy of Film, School of Communication, the delegation learned about the latest development of the School of Business and visited the Academy of Film and the School of Chinese Medicine to gain a better understanding of the teaching facilities and development of HKBU.
