Visual arts work of student, staff and alumni showcased at international exhibition Hong Kong stop

Student, staff and alumni of the Academy of Visual Arts were invited to participate in an international exhibition currently taking place in Hong Kong co-organised by the Burger Collection, a private collection of contemporary art based in Switzerland, and local art organisation 1a Space. The Hong Kong event is the second stop in the four-stop international exhibition series.

 

The Hong Kong stop, with the theme I Think It Rains, features works and performances by 11 renowned overseas artists and about 20 local artists and writers. Focusing on installation and video works, the exhibition aims at exploring time, history and the artistic process.

 

The HKBU participants are Ms. Annie Wan (Lecturer), Mr. Kingsley Ng (Part-time Lecturer), Mr. Ng Ka-chun (alumnus), Mr. Cheung King-wai (alumnus), Mr. Lam Siu-wing (alumnus) and Ms. Wen Yau (PhD student).
