Twenty-six members of the DanceSport Society recently scooped 34 medals at the 9th Inter-school DanceSport Competition, breaking last year's record of 29 medals. They won four golds, 10 silvers, nine bronzes and 11 second-class honour awards in the post-secondary division of the competition organised by the Hong Kong DanceSport Association.
The two pairs with the best results were Lawrence Leung (Organizational Communication, Year 3) and Theresa Leung (Chemistry, Year 2) who won one gold, two silvers and one bronze, and Michael Yuen (Computer Science, Year 3) and Sammie Chin (Public Relations and Advertising, Year 3) who snatched six silvers, three bronzes and one second-class honour award.
In addition, HKBU Kindergarten students also won 10 awards. They brought home four gold, three silver and three bronze medals.
