HKBU Student Yu Chun Yin Matthew to Shine at National Games: Let's Cheer Him On !

The highly anticipated 12th National Games for Persons with Disabilities and the 9th National Special Olympics Games (National Games) are just around the corner! The wheelchair dance competition (mass participation event) will take place from September 6th to 7th at the Ma On Shan Sports Centre.

Yu Chun Yin Matthew, a student at HKBU, has been admitted to the Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Sports Industry Management through the “Talented Athletes Direct Admission Scheme” for the 2025/26 academic year. Matthew will partner with his dance partner, Pandora, to compete in the Latin dance mixed category at the National Games.

This duo is set to dazzle the audience with their unwavering perseverance and superb technique; they will undoubtedly deliver a wonderful performance. Let's join hands to show our support and encouragement to these wheelchair dance athletes as they take to the National Games stage!
