Congratulations to Cheung Ka Long on winning the bronze medal at the FIE Foil Grand Prix in Shanghai!

The FIE Foil Grand Prix in Shanghai was held from May 17 to 18, 2025.

Cheung Ka Long defeated Felix Klein of Germany fencer, Roger Wallerand of France fencer, Davide Filippi of Italy fencer, and 19-year-old Chinese fencer GUO Yifan in succession. He ultimately lost to world-ranked No. 6 Tommaso Marini by a margin of 2 points, taking home the bronze medal.

Ka Long is a student in the Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education and Recreation Management programme at Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU), admitted through the Talented Athletes Direct Admission Scheme.
