A Cross-culture, Unique Solo Play Exploring the Topic of Diversity and Nature.

An Indian professional dancer found himself teaching dance on a piece of land which used to be paddy field in an area of Hong Kong which was well-known for pearl clams but no more. Back home in Hyderabad, India, lakes are dying, cormorants there and all over the world, in Crimea, India and Hong Kong are fighting for survival.

This theater piece covers various styles from traditional to contemporary Indian dance, which will be rich in gestural vocabulary telling the stories of Hong Kong, Tai Po and Hyderabad. We hope to inspire our audiences to confront the damage they have caused to the environment, and raise their awareness towards environmental protection and animal conservation.

Welcome all students, staff and alumni.
