Dr Jos Bartels on RTHK radio show to discuss the impact of new app Threads

Tech giant Meta officially launched a new app called Threads, a separate app from Instagram, on 6th July. It reached 70 million downloads within 48 hours and became one of the fastest growing social media apps.
Dr Jos Bartels, Associate Professor in Organizational Communication of Department of Communication Studies, was a guest speaker on RTHK Radio 3's “Backchat” . The topic for discussion was “The rise of new social media platforms”. Dr Jos Bartels, discussed the possible impact that Threads will have on the social media landscape in the show.
