Invitation to a Symposium
May 9, Mira Hotel

I cordially invite you to the upcoming symposium, entitled “Facing AI and Cyberattacks: Navigating Challenges and Seizing Opportunities for Crisis Resilience,” organized by the Department of Communication Studies at Hong Kong Baptist University, a leading institute in strategic communication research and education. The symposium is in collaboration with the Crisis Communication Think Tank at The University of Georgia, and the Department of Chinese and Bilingual Studies at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

This symposium aims to bring together professionals and scholars in issues and crisis management to share insights and discuss effective solutions to emerging AI and cyber threats we face today. With a lineup of distinguished local and international panelists, the symposium will feature two thought-provoking panels:

ADAPTING TO UNCERTAIN TIMES:
AI IN ISSUES AND CRISIS MANAGEMENT
and
READINESS FOR CYBERATTACKS:
BUILDING RESILIENCE THROUGH DATA, TECHNOLOGY, MANAGEMENT, AND COMMUNICATION

We invite you to join us for a day of learning, sharing, and networking with fellow professionals. This is a unique opportunity to engage with crisis scholars and practitioners, pose questions, and deepen your understanding of the complex issues surrounding crisis management in the digital age.

Registration closes on May 2, 2025.
We look forward to welcoming you to the Mira Hotel on May 9th.
