TYA’s 50th Anniversary Celebration: Students Craft Innovative Content Marketing Strategy TYA’s 50th Anniversary Celebration: Students Craft Innovative Content Marketing Strategy

As the student-run agency TYA marks its 50th anniversary, students of the Department of Communication Studies have risen to the occasion. In a recent class led by Dr. Lola Xie, they devised an impressive content marketing proposal aimed at celebrating this significant milestone and strengthening ties with key stakeholders.

The project challenged students to create a comprehensive social media marketing plan. They conducted a situation analysis, a social media audit, and formulated a content marketing plan to enhance the department’s existing strategy, aiming to increase engagement and online impact. Zoe Cheung from Sinclair extended her support to the initiative.

Among the seven competing teams, Group 6 emerged as the champions. Their marketing strategy, aptly named “Sweet, Sour, Bitter, Spicy” provided a holistic and feasible plan to publicize the event. The theme beautifully interweaves the experiences of students, alumni, and TYA, portraying TYA as a tight-knit family and fostering a friendly atmosphere among all involved.

As we celebrate TYA’s 50th anniversary, we look forward to the continued success and growth of the department.
